    Accredited degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Graphic Design
    REVIT proficiency is required
    Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

    Experience with core/ shell, hospitality, and retail a strong plus
    DESIGN/ TECHNICAL DESIGN
    Working knowledge of the California Building Code and/ or Local Building Codes
    Experience with programming and space planning
    Experience coordinating with public agencies and jurisdictions related to planning and building approvals
    Experience designing to a construction budget

    Ability to work within a team environment
    Demonstrated ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors
    Ability to work on several projects simultaneously with multiple deadlines
    Ability to advise and facilitate decision making amongst clients

    Candidates must currently reside in and have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
    Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills, as well as excellent organizational skills
    Candidates must be able to travel to other studios as required

    Responsibilities

    Project Managers at Blitz are responsible for directing and managing design teams through all phases of a project

    They will provide decision-making and design leadership of their projects and are responsible for maintaining project budgets, work plans, and schedules.

    They are responsible for creating a positive, supportive working environment for their teams and coworkers
    Strategically manages clients in service of the project
    Creation of project proposals, budgets and staffing plans
    Develop new business
    Full-time employees receive four weeks PTO (including the week between Christmas and New Years when the firm is closed)
    Nine paid holiday days
    Flexible working hours with a 4-day work week option
    Distributed work model
    Full medical, dental, and vision coverage
    401(k) with generous matching
    Strong continuing education support on both a firm-wide and an individual basis
    Salary increase upon licensure (successfully passed licensing exams are reimbursed too)
    $100,000 - $115,000 annual
    Qualifications

    7+ years professional experience
    Accredited degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Graphic Design

    ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY...

    We are seeking a Project Manager with seven years of experience.

    Our ideal candidate has stellar technical skills, plays well with others, manages deadlines like a boss, and rocks their job hard.

    Project Managers at Blitz are responsible for directing and managing design teams through all phases of a project.

    They will provide decision-making and design leadership of their projects and are responsible for maintaining project budgets, work plans, and schedules.

    They are responsible for creating a positive, supportive working environment for their teams and coworkers.


    EXPERIENCE

    • 7+ years professional experience.
    • Accredited degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Graphic Design.
    • LEED and/or WELL Accreditation a plus.
    • Professional Certification a plus.
    • REVIT proficiency is required.
    • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
    • Experience in commercial interiors.
    • Experience with core/ shell, hospitality, and retail a strong plus.
    DESIGN/ TECHNICAL DESIGN

    • Working knowledge of the California Building Code and/ or Local Building Codes.
    • Experience with programming and space planning.
    • Experience in construction documentation and detailing.
    • Experience leading a team of designers.
    • Experience with the management of Design Fees and Staffing Plans.
    • Ability to review construction for general conformance with the design concept.
    • Strong presentation skills.
    • Experience coordinating with public agencies and jurisdictions related to planning and building approvals.
    • Experience designing to a construction budget.

    SOFT SKILLS
