    Our client is a prominent player in the Automotive/Client Service industry and is currently looking to add a Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst in to their team in Downtown Chicago

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage assigned General Ledger accounts
    • Ensure timely month end close and financial reporting
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address and resolve accounting issues promptly
    • Provide financial support in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
    • Analyze financial data to offer insights for strategic decision-making
    • Analyze customer data and prepare reports
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes
    • Partner with the Assistant Controller and CFO to establish robust processes and controls for accurate financial reporting
    • Contribute to accounting projects and system implementations
    • Assist auditors as required

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
    • 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally including Big 4 or regional firm experience
    • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Willingness to travel occasionally to other office locations
