    Maintenance Coordinator Position at Property Management Company

    Are you an experienced individual in property maintenance looking for a new challenge? Look no further! Our private property management company is in search of a qualified candidate to join our maintenance department.

    This administrative role, focusing on coordination rather than hands-on work, requires someone with excellent maintenance knowledge and organizational skills. While most of the work is in-office, some field tasks may be necessary. Your day-to-day will involve managing maintenance requests and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

    Responsibilities

    • Handle a high volume of calls and emails related to maintenance requests
    • Coordinate routine maintenance between tenants and vendors
    • Obtain approvals for repairs from supervisors/owners
    • Update repair statuses and close work orders
    • Follow up on completed tasks with vendors and tenants
    • Process invoices and determine tenant responsibilities for maintenance costs
    • Prepare notices for maintenance work in apartments or buildings

    Requirements

    • Minimum 2 years of property management maintenance experience
    • Reliable transportation
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Gmail, Google Sheets, and Drive
    • Strong communication skills in English and Spanish
    • Good organizational and time management abilities

    Schedule

    • 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
    • On-call and weekend availability
