    The Legal Recruiting Assistant will join a supportive and collaborative team. The Assistant will provide administrative support to the Legal Recruiting Coordinators, and Legal Recruiting Manager, with the planning and execution of the summer associate program and executing the firms 1L, 2L and 3L hiring efforts. They will also give support with the onboarding process for fall associates. Duties and Responsibilities:

    Legal Recruiting

    Provide general support to the Legal Recruiting Coordinators and Legal Recruiting Manager Assist in coordinating and planning all aspects of the summer associate program (events, trainings, name tags, collecting responses, etc.)Assist with summer associate onboarding and orientation as necessary (e.g. prepare materials)Attend summer associate program events as requiredMaintain summer associate work assignment boardAssist with the administration of summer associate mid-and-end-of-summer evaluationsServe as a firm ambassadorAssist in setting up 1L and rising 2L events and sponsorshipsAssist with compiling on-campus recruiting materials and post-OCI processing of callback decisions Prepare hiring meeting materials and assist with follow upAssist in the administration of scheduling interviews as necessaryOrganize and execute NALP shared expense reimbursement processComplete law school hiring outcome surveysTrack and file incoming resumes and maintain recruiting databasesMaintain LawCruit database with accurate and complete recordsMaintain NetDocs file management system with accurate and complete recordsAssist with fall associate onboarding and orientation as necessaryAssist with office tours for summer associates, fall associates, and lateral associatesKeep track of inventory of marketing materials and order additional supplies, as needed, for recruiting purposesMust be willing to work overtime as requested, especially during the months of May through AugustWork collaboratively and across the team and other departments of the firmPerform other duties as assigned or as judgment or necessity dictatesNew York Applicants: Salaries may vary by location. In New York City, the estimated target salary range of this role is $57,000 - $72,000, in addition to bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefit package. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to, the relevant market and the skill, experience, class or graduation year, and education of the selected candidate.

    Education and/or Experience Required:

    Bachelors degree from an accredited college or universityPossesses strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines; excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work independently and be proactiveStrong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    Preferred:

    Experience working with databases (LawCruit) would be a plus.
