Job Description
Job DescriptionSalary:Chemtek, Inc. is seeking help in the accounting department to join our growing corporate team. This role is responsible for all daily accounting functions specific to Accounts Payable (AP).
Primary job responsibilities include:
• Match invoices with supporting documentation (i.e. purchase orders, receipts, etc.).
• Responsively handle vendor's financial inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
• Schedule and facilitate payments to vendors in a timely and accurate disbursement, ensuring to address outstanding credit issues.
• Maintain vendor records for reference and audit purposes.
• Ensure accuracy in processed work by verifying entries and cross-referencing accounting system with balances/invoices.
• Additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed such as Sales Tax and Property Tax filings.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of relevant work experience required.
• Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Must have strong time management, project management, and prioritization skills.
