    Description

    The Accounts Payable ("A/P") Specialist is an integral contributor to the Accounts Payable group. The main aspects of this role are to ensure vendors are maintained correctly together with a wide range of administrative support tasks for AP.

    Responsibilities

    • Review all expense report transactions within Concur to ensure compliance with company T&E policies
    • Maintaining Concur employee changes and/or terminations
    • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries through a general AP mailbox
    • Submit tax exempt certificates to vendors as needed
    • Process credit applications for new vendor setup
    • Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
    • Assist in month end closing
    • Provide supporting documentation for audits
    • Complete special assignments or projects as needed
    Requirements
    • Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Knowledge of general accounting procedures
    • Experience with ERP system preferably Microsoft Dynamics but not essential
    • Experience with SAP Concur preferably but not essential
    • Must have strong work ethics, organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
    • Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
    • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
