    Description
    The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

    Responsibilities:
    Process invoices and ensure accuracy of data entry
    Secure W-9 from all vendors; return W9 request to vendors
    Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
    Ensure timely payments to vendors
    Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries
    Assist with month-end close and other accounting tasks as needed
    Prepare use tax reports for payment (some monthly and some quarterly)
    Fill supply orders and reorder needed supplies
    Balance refund account; assist with accounting duties as necessary

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's or Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred
    1-3 years of experience in accounts payable
    Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    Able to work independently
    Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and accounting software
