    Description

    RK Communications is an integrated communications agency connecting brands to consumers. With a team of strategists, media and celebrity experts, we are a holistic agency headquartered in New York. Our client work includes established and emerging brands alike include Hurley, bebe, SIEDRES, EM on Holiday, Mr. Larkin, Wolf Circus and Brixton.

    RK c- is currently seeking a VIP Account Manager in its TriBeCa headquarters. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing client relationships, driving VIP placements and strategy. This position will report into RK c-'s founder and head of strategy, and also mentor the company's dynamic team of AAE's and interns.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Proven ability at-once celebrity placement from street style to promo appearances, red carpet and beyond for established and emerging brands
    • Understanding, and existing relationships, within the top tier influencer community and ability to place collections on said targets
    • Oversee celebrity and influencer seeding across several clients
    • Work in tandem with RK c-'s president to provide daily deliverables and insights to the company's portfolio of clients
    • Brings their own established relationships with top tier talent, stylists, and entertainment executives
    • Convert celebrity moments into meaningful, effective press placements
    • Oversee PR assistant to prepare sample fulfillment, monthly reporting, and feedback on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
    • Ensure deliverables are met on a day-to-day basis to exceed client expectations

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years fashion PR agency experience doing VIP relations is a must, candidates without will not be considered
    • Excellent communications skills, among both internal team as well as with client accounts
    • outstanding relationships with VIP, stylists and entertainment media
    • Proven ability to secure VIP and influencer coverage on a daily, monthly and weekly basis
    • Record of developing and executing client campaigns, managing multiple accounts at once
    • Keen understanding of a consumer-led approach to PR
    • A firm understanding and distinct knowledge of the pop culture landscape and an ability to home in on specific audiences for each brand they interface with
    • Launchmetrics, Microsoft suite, Cision, Fashion Monitor expert is a must
