    Job Description

    The Strategy Development Program (SDP) offers three twelve-month assignments spread over three years. These assignments are designed to help you gain essential knowledge by working on a variety of projects and getting exposure to different company leaders. Through these experiences, you will develop and enhance your skills for future strategic roles at AbbVie. You will also have the opportunity to work cross-functionally in a matrix environment, further honing your strategic and analytical abilities. The rotations will primarily focus on areas within the Corporate Business & Strategy Office (CBSO), including Enterprise Innovation and Transformation, Corporate Strategy, Competitive and Strategic Insights, and Alliance Management.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyzing acceleration levers to maximize asset or brand performance
    • Supporting the implementation of new capabilities to improve R&D efficiency
    • Aiding in AbbVie's long-term planning process
    • Conducting competitive analysis to inform decision-making on key oncology assets
    • Assisting in managing strategic partnerships

    Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree at a university, expected to graduate before the full-time start date
    • Keen interest in Healthcare demonstrated through coursework, internships, or relevant experience
    • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
    • Showcased leadership skills through extracurricular activities, projects, or internships
    • Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above preferred
    • Demonstrated high learning agility and proactive attitude
    • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
    • Strong communication, leadership, project management, problem-solving, analytical, and business acumen

    Additional Information

    • The compensation range provided represents the potential base pay for this role, subject to geographic location and other factors. Actual compensation may vary.
    • Benefits include paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick leave), medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) plans for eligible employees.
    • This position is eligible for participation in short-term incentive programs.
