Account Manager/ Engineer – Itasca, IL
$60,000 - $67,000/Annually (Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO)

We are actively seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, team player with a strong technical aptitude and outstanding customer service skills to join our team The ideal candidate will have the ability to not only understand our product line, but will also be able to simply our products /product usage to customers.
Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with accounts by proactively assessing, clarifying, and validating customer needs on an ongoing basis
Lead the coordination of resources and information to develop quotations and other documents that commit our company to our customers
Effectively balance the advocacy of your customers' needs while insuring that our company's interests and goals are always maintained
Monitor the status of each quote throughout the entire process, ensuring each is processed promptly
Receive and answer routine customer questions, comments, and concerns with professionalism and courtesy
Coordinate and communicate inventory level, product return information, and shipment arrival with both our internal departments and customers
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of products according to customer needs and objectives
Verify and enter incoming orders for current customers including price, lead time and delivery schedule
Participate and assist in strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year experience in an Account Management role in manufacturing
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent math and problem-solving skills
