Description
Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst at R1 RCM in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description As our Senior Analyst you will work to validate and review hospital accounts which are believed to have additional revenue opportunity.
Everyday you will work closely with Management to lead a team of BlueCard Analysts and will train, QA, and oversee the analyses completed by junior staff.
Additionally, the BlueCard Senior Associate is instrumental in client communication.To thrive in this role you must have experience in Revenue Cycle, data and analytics, and enjoy working in a client facing role.
Responsibilities + The Senior Associate is instrumental in both generating and validating the calculation of the expected reimbursement.+ The Senior Associate will work within the client's Patient Accounting system, payer portals and/or websites, and will utilize our proprietary software to research accounts in their own work queue as well as monitor and QA the accounts in work queues of junior staff.
+ Upon discovery of new information, the Senior Associate will be expected to 're-price' the account, including complex scenarios, and therefore must have mastery of inpatient and outpatient managed care payment methodologies.
(e.g., Cost Outlier, APC-based pricing, OPPS, multiple procedure reductions, line-item fee schedules, etc.). + The Senior Associate shall demonstrate excellent analytical skills and have intimate knowledge of the Hospital Revenue Cycle. These analyses are quantified and delivered to our client to drive automation via BlueCard Prebill services.+ When needed, the Senior Associate will initiate the process of submitting void/rebill claims in client billing system based upon established billing schedule.
+ The Senior Associate will lead the effort of training new Claims Analysts and will perform QA/review accounts before moving accounts to resolution work queue.
The senior must be available to all team members assigned to assist them with questions and concerns to ensure contracts are followed as written and do so in a positive manner.
Required Qualifications + 3+ years working in Revenue Cycle Managment, preferably in billing and follow up. + 3+ years working with data, analysis, trends, and/or data analytics. + Experience working with clients and giving client presentations. This role will be responsible for being client facing.
