On search for an experience IT Server and Security Administrator. This is a full time benefitted position with a great opportunity to grow into IT security. The Server Security Administrators role is to ensure the secure and stable operation of the global in-house computer servers. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing server hardware, software, data and other related items with focus on making sure overall system security is always being addressed. The Server Security Administrator will also help a team develop the companys incident response and disaster recovery plans.
Responsible for HA/DR of global servers
Perform backups and recovery requests.
Monitor server security and performance issues
Work with 3rd party consultants on yearly external and internal penetration testing.
Assist in GPO requirements.
Assist in managing server security and account group management, access rights and permissions.
Assist in managing AD, DNS, WINS, Account and Group Management, and NPS.
Assist in managing all hardware, software upgrades and patches to OS/ hardware, and applications.
Perform server design and capacity planning.
Experience and use of MS Windows 2008R Server; VMware, IBM Storage Management; MS- SharePoint; MS- Exchange; MS- SQL Server, MS- Azure, MS- O365
Experience with the following applications:

+ Azure Active Directory and Active Directory on-prem
+ Veeam
+ SQL
+ SharePoint cloud and on-prem
+ IIS
+ PowerShell
+ Intune
+ Bit Locker

Understanding of core networking concepts (DNS,DHCP,IPv4,VLANs,NAT.)
