**Description**
The Prestige Designer Fragrance team is seeking a passionate, go-getter to join the global marketing team. The talent for this role will have the opportunity to manage and grow the John Varvatos and Allsaints global prestige fragrance business through key global development and marketing initiatives in this fast-paced category.
The role requires the ability to support the brand in day to day marketing activity, serve as a key liaison between international markets and create relevant best in class innovations and marketing assets to break through the competitive fragrance environment. Candidate must be outgoing, have strong creative, analytical, and writing skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and manage internal and external resources to successfully bring projects to life. Prior beauty experience is a plus. Passion for the fragrance category is a must.
**Responsibilities:**
**PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT:**
Lead individual projects which are part of the 3 year pipeline for fragrance category in order to achieve net sales goals driven by innovation and NPD.
Manage project timelines in collaboration with cross functional team to make sure key project milestones are met ahead of time.
Analyze the potential of new products feasibility (sales and profit analysis, forecasting, competitive review target audience, pricing, etc), manage NPD database, and prepare documents to facilitate stage-gate approval
Own and develop all promotional sets and GWPs from concept to execution ensuring market needs are accounted for and COGs are hit.
Lead the creation of artworks in collaboration with packaging, R+D, regulatory and creative teams. This process includes initiating artwork request, code creation, drafting marketing copy, proofreading and follow up with approvals on artwork mechanicals from design through to production
Serve as key point of contact for international marketing teams and respond to international market requests in a timely fashion and assist them with procuring brand assets for local activations.
Collaborate with cross functional teams (R+D, Finance, PMO, Packaging, Legal, Claims, Creative, Market Research) and key project stakeholders throughout entire product development process.
Create go-to market launch toolkits with relevant consumer-driven content with a focus on in-store and digital.
+ Manage samples, copy points, product images.
+ Coordinate/Brief into internal creative agency to develop promotional material and campaign assets.
+ Development of marketing presentations + launch kits to share with countries.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: creating concept decks, mood boards, name ideation, generating item codes, developing fragrance briefs, writing brand copy, tracking samples, presenting to markets, evaluating fragrance mods.
**CREATIVE ASSET MANAGEMENT:**
Prepare and brief the creation of all creative and digital and in-store marketing assets (Point of Sale displays, Banners, Shelf Talkers, e-blasts, online PDPs)
Route all creative internally to key stakeholders for alignment/approval (including Legal)
Contribute to the development and execution of global brand advertising assets, including digital, video, and print
Create strong tool kits for e-commerce including ATF/BTF content for Amazon web pages.
**COMPETITIVE + CATEGORY ANALYSIS:**
Monitor and track Prestige fragrance business performance and provide updates to Senior Manager
Calculate launch ambitions and identify need gaps
Stay up to date with competitive launches, advertising and communications in the US and international fragrance
**TEAM TASKS:**
Track brand support spending and monitor budget compliance
Open, record and track all vendor POs and invoices
Lead the timely updating of market communication tools on behalf of Global Marketing
Manage model rights tracker and track contracts
Lead agendas for country calls as well as actively participate and attend interdepartmental meetings
**Education, Knowledge and Skills Required:**
Bachelors degree is required
Min 2 years of marketing experience, ideally in a global role but not required
Prestige fragrance category experience an advantage
Prior product development experience and artwork management
Demonstrates strong accountability, agility, collaboration and responsiveness
Be adept in time management, execution, follow up, and have excellent attention to detail
Computer savvy with strong technical skills (e.g., Excel, Powerpoint)
Financial acumen, such as ability to interpret, build, and manipulate P&Ls for assigned projects
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously + enjoys working in a fast-pace environment
