OVERVIEW
Blue Note Entertainment Group is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Manager with a music and entertainment background to directly support the Blue Note New York Marketing Director for the iconic Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with artist teams to advance marketing for each show; coordinating announce, presale and onsale schedules and assist in developing showspecific marketing plans
- Direct show builds, box office operations and front of house communications
- Responsible for revenue generation primarily ticket sales
- Digital advertising (e.g., Meta and Google, directing staff and digital agency TradableBits)
- Organic social media campaigns, promotions & contests
- In venue and onsite advertising collateral (e.g., digital screens, table toppers, monthly programs, show posters and flyers)
- Collect ticket buyer information through Salesforce, Ticketweb, Meta, Tradeable Bits and segment for specific campaign use
- Actively engage with users across all platforms, responding to direct messages and comments
- Coordinate content collection with outside house photographers
- Organize and actively maintain media libraries
- Assist with guest list
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Comfortable working in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or Music Business or related field
- 35 years of professional experience in marketing, music business or related industry
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Strong verbal and written communication, experience negotiating and working with partners and external stakeholders a plus
- High level of motivation to take initiative and work independently
LOCATION & BENEFITS:

- Monday
- Friday 11am 7pm, some weekend and evening hours as needed
- This position is not a remote position, and the Marketing Manager will be required to be inoffice full time.
Pay:
$60, $100,000.00 per year
