Matthew Bracaglia

I served as a Research Assistant III at Facebook/Meta via Vertisystem from August 2021 to August 2023, managing a team of 8 assistants overseeing multiple studies with 60-70 participants daily. My responsibilities included developing research environments for HCI and machine learning studies, adapting instructions based on user feedback, and conducting various UX methods. Additionally, I contributed to the development of research protocols and interfaces for EMG systems. Prior to that, as a UX Researcher Apprentice at Tech Fleet from September 2020 to July 2021, I collaborated on product development, participated in Agile methods, and conducted user research studies. Earlier, as the Lab Manager at Rachlin's Decision Making Lab, Stony Brook University, from May 2013 to May 2014, I conducted experiments on social media usage effects on decision making, analyzed data using Excel and Python, and managed a team of 100 participants.

I earned a Master of Arts degree from New York University, completing my studies from September 2015 to January 2018. Prior to that, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stony Brook University, graduating in May 2014 after starting in September 2010.
