Hi, my name is Taylor Bracone. I am a senior, studying Human-Centered Design and Development (HCDD) with a focus in Cybersecurity (CYBER) and a minor in Security Risk Analysis (SRA). I first discovered my love for technology in high school coding classes. Since then, I have expanded my knowledge by learning different programming languages. My peers would describe me as passionate, driven, organized, and a leader. I am not afraid of new things and will tackle them wholeheartedly to further my knowledge. • Under the OREI grant, developed two technologies: a web application for configuring farms, crops, measures, and crop inputs/outputs; and a smartphone app for capturing crop measures, inputs, and outputs in both online and offline modes.
• Conducted user testing to ensure that the application provides a data ‘pipeline’ and repository for mushroom growers to capture farm and crop data in a persistent electronic format.
