    Job Description

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The intern will support The International Center's Marketing and Communications Manager in various communication functions such as managing media (social and traditional), website maintenance, blog writing, community relations, and stakeholder analysis. Additionally, the intern will participate in specific projects throughout the semester.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Creation of marketing materials:
      • Design and create promotional materials for The Center, including posters, fliers, emails, and social media content, utilizing diverse resources for enhanced creativity
    • Social media management:
      • Manage The Center's social media accounts, analyze social media metrics, develop monthly plans, and collaborate with the manager to suggest relevant topics aligning with the audience's interests
    • Newsletters and news releases:
      • Compose various communication pieces, such as a monthly newsletter, and oversee The Center's blog content by crafting multiple posts
    • Marketing and promotion support:
      • Photograph events, assist as required, and work within a collaborative team environment
    • Special projects:
      • Participate in planning, creating materials, presenting information, and executing assigned projects and tasks, while representing The Center professionally at events
