We are seeking a natural storyteller and collaborative team member to join our Corporate Marketing + Communications team. As a member of Team MJ, you will have the opportunity to work alongside passionate, determined, and creative individuals. Your focus will be on shaping the company narrative and contributing to programs that actively engage internal audiences nationwide, all while enhancing our shared culture of One MJ.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Supports the functional execution of internal communications strategy and change management to enhance the employee experience and drive understanding of enterprise business strategy.
+ Create and distribute engaging content across various internal communication channels, including email newsletters, intranet, digital signage, and company events.
+ Manage and maintain MJ's intranet platform, ensuring content is up-to-date, engaging, informative, and easily accessible.
+ Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communication efforts, utilizing KPIs and feedback to continuously improve strategies and tactics.
+ Serve as a liaison between departments, offices, and committees to facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration.
+ Provide guidance and support to teams on communication best practices, including communication planning, writing, editing, and presentation skills.
+ Support the planning and execution of company-wide events and meetings, including logistics coordination and development of communication materials to ensure meeting objectives are achieved.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Technical Functions
+ Proficiency in MS Office products; SharePoint experience preferred.
+ Proficiency in using communication tools, including email marketing software, intranet platforms, and digital signage systems.
+ Familiarity with analytics tools to track and evaluate communication effectiveness.
Required Experience
+ 3+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or similar role.
+ Resourceful, creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and engaging internal audiences.
+ Demonstrated expertise in communication skills including writing, editing, proofreading and presentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
+ Experience analyzing employee behaviors, navigating change management, understanding business priorities.
+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
+ Aptitude to manage multiple deadlines effectively in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
+ Strong project management skills with the ability to organize a daily workload and prioritize tasks.
+ Excellent customer service skills
Required education/Certification
+ Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, public relations, or relevant field of study.
