    Role Overview:

    We're searching for an experienced executive to lead our sales and account management teams. This role overseas all sales and account management of this unicorn startup. Candidates need to be experienced in all aspects of sales and account management of enterprise software products aimed at business users, with at least 7 years' experience in the bio/healthcare sector. This VP role will build and manage the full team and create sales targets, incentives, GTM strategy, customer retention strategies and provide constructive analysis on ongoing learnings and improvements to maintain a high performing sales team.

    Skills Required:

    Building and scaling sales teams from scratch, building GTM messaging and sales strategy from scratch, strong enterprise sales experience ideally in the healthcare sector, executive communication, sales and negotiating abilities.

    This role reports directly to the CEO. Promotion opportunity possible within 12 months.

    The full team is expected to grow to 60 by EOY.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Hire, onboard, retain and develop a world-class, decentralized sales team of sellers, account managers and subject matter experts
    2. Build and execute a multi-channel go-to-market strategy spanning direct sales and strategic partners to drive sales pipeline and velocity through diverse sources
    3. Build a repeatable sales process that expands on founder-led success and customer proof points tied to our unique solution offering
    4. Define and roll out CRM and sales tools, metrics and KPIs to track pipeline health and growth
    5. Report regularly to CEO and board on sales progress, challenges and mitigations
    6. Lead and inspire the sales team to achieve their quarterly and annual sales growth targets
    7. Lead from the front and engage on sales opportunities directly with your team, supporting and helping them win business
    8. Work with CEO, product and marketing teams to refine Ideal Customer Profile and build target account lists for sales pursuit
    9. Work with product and marketing teams to share field sales learnings from wins and losses to fine-tune our GTM messaging, sales assets, pricing and packaging
    10. Build an onboarding and enablement capability to reduce sales ramp time and increase retention
    11. Build and maintain compensation plans and tracking systems
    12. Work closely with marketing to design and refine effective demand and lead generation strategies

    Qualifications & Experience

    1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Administration, or a related field. MBA/MSc is a plus.
    2. Proven experience in executive Sales Rep /Account Manager or relevant role, preferably within the healthcare software or tech software startup environment, leading teams of 20+
    3. Experience scaling B2B SaaS software in a leadership capacity, from initial product-market fit through $10-20MM and beyond
    4. Proven ability to recruit, onboard and retain successful salespeople that meet or exceed their targets
    5. Exceptional organizational and understanding of the entire business-software sales cycle along with excellent sales process rigor and discipline
    6. Demonstration of executive competency in business development selling to senior executives in healthcare
    7. Experience standing up and optimizing systems of record to track sales progress from lead to deal
    8. Ability to manage multiple complexities and tasks while thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.
    9. Superior executive written and public speaking/verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to the full executive team to internal and external stakeholders as requested, related to sales and account management.
    10. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Notion, Google Docs, and familiar with various project management tools. Significant familiarity with CRM software.
    11. Inspirational leader who loves sales, proactive, self-starter/go-getter, resilient, positive, resourceful, and adaptable, with the ability to anticipate the needs of the entire sales and account management team and act accordingly.
