- Able to operate heavy vehicles (CMv's) in a variety of testing and road conditions.
- Basic understanding of Heavy Truck & Trailer systems and functions.
- Needs to be able to identify/install different types of instrumentation, understand application, and understand function
- Needs the ability to troubleshoot technical problems
- Perform physical testing on test objects by driving and executing test cases in support to Engineers
- High school degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating a CMV
- Must have basic PC skills - Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Must be willing to travel
- Class A CDL
- Strong understanding of truck functions and features.
- Able to lift 50 LBS
- Bending, Twisting, be able to squat
- Quick reaction during dynamic driving test
- Prolonged standing/sitting
- Be able to drive 8 hours a day
- Must maintain a Class A CDL
- Safety Sensitive position requiring all persons assigned to activity be drug-free and able to pass a drug screen successfully.

Job Description
Job DescriptionWork within a team of technicians and test engineers to prepare, perform, and validate testing activities. Ensure all tests are carried out in an efficient manner and validate the tests. Minimize the installation time as well as optimize test cycle efficiency in test cells. Produce useful data for engineering and follow-up activities in the test facilities to establish relevant KPIs. Must have CDL Class A. Will support with instrumenting trucks, and data collection. This may include mechanical labor, prototype development, installation and troubleshooting of instrumentation and sensors, setup and maintenance of test rigs, perform tests under direction of test engineer (which will include driving and travel).
