- Perform maintenance and continuous development of the Reliability Labs
- Drive increase in product reliability and reduction in warranty costs
- Perform set-up, component/assembly testing and reporting of test results for the Reliability Labs as requested by team lead and lab manager
- Apply scientific methodology and analytical skills to test performance with high work standards
- Support coworkers in test setup and execution to ensure strong test performance and maintain project schedules
- Provide feedback with a sense of urgency as questions and concerns arise during all phases of test and test development
- Provide input and feedback for test improvement
- Participate in and support development of test methods and sustainment
- Utilize best practices and application of DAC methods for test automation and test repeatability
- Participate in and utilize Vontier Business System (VBS) initiatives to provide overall department growth and sustainment
- Minimum AAS degree with technical background in electronics and fixturing abilities preferred.
- 1-3 years related experience preferred
- Conceptual understanding of component and system level testing
- Must be able to read and understand written instructions
- Good hands-on skills with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Good computer skills with ability to operate PLCs and other DAC devices
- Ability to understand and apply a variety of electronic and mechanical instruments
- Experience with National Instruments LabView operation a plus, with ability to learn required
- Good writing skills using Word and Excel, with ability to accurately complete datasheets
- Ideally, experience in hydraulics would be a big plus.
