- Process KYC global vettings for seafarers, vessels, corporations, and any associated individuals for both compliance with comprehensive nationbased embargoes and through a database which combines national and international lists of individuals, entities, or vessels of special concern.
- Use critical thinking skills to resolve and document all KYC vettings that require further investigation.
- Work effectively independently and in a collaborative environment.
- Assist in upgrades to the KYC system.
- Assist Manager, Trade Compliance on special projects
- Manage export/import authorizations through their life cycle, including maintaining all applicable trade compliance records in compliance with regulatory and company requirements
- Actualizes the daily landed cost report received from broker
- Supports Assistant Manager on interacting with customs brokers, freight forwarders, vendors, product managers on resolution of compliance issues
- Aids in assigning proper classification on all products
- Verifies First Sale for Export transaction documentation to ensure unit price, quantity, and classification are properly provided and entries are correctly reported to customs
- Receives photoset samples for Mock Store
- Performs daily entry audit reviews and log onto an audit tool
- Prepares monthly First Sale and QA duty saving reports
- College Degree Required
- Trade Compliance Experience is a plus
