Introduction:


The Administrative Coordinator will work with the Academy Director, Assistant Academy Director as well as all Academy Staff members to ensure the daily operations of the Academy are being met.


ABOUT THIS ROLE

In this role you will:

  • Provide support to the Academy Director, Assistant Academy Director and each unit within the Criminal Justice Academy
  • Effectively Correspond with members of the Department, other agencies within the county, state agencies and citizens within the county, both written and orally
  • Coordinate and maintain complex schedules and documents regarding training and specialized training pertaining to Law Enforcement
  • Maintain partnerships with Department personnel and various other law enforcement agencies and county agencies
  • Maintain law enforcement certifications for all department personnel as well as member agency personnel
  • Coordinate logistics of Academy facilities regarding various training scenarios
  • Assist with Academy and Department CALEA and DCJS recertifications
  • Supervise and conduct evaluations for Administrative Specialist
  • Perform primary responsibilities that rely on research of training records for necessary reports

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or G.E.D. and 3 years of related (administrative support) experience.

ENTRY SALARY RANGE:

Hourly $ $38.82
Annually $53, $75,699
