Core Job Functions and Responsibilities:


The following statements reflect the general functions and responsibilities considered necessary to perform the essential functions of the job and should not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements of the position.


1. Answer high volume of incomig phone calls, accurately routing and/or taking messages and following-tjrough as needed


2. Respond to clients presenting at the door throughout the day


3. Route incoming/outgoing mail and packages daily


4. Maintain reception area and conference rooms, setting up and breaking down for meetings and events as needed ensuring cleanliness and organization, and coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed


5. Coordinate with warehouse team on ordering, receiving, maintaining, and distributing food and supplies, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.


6. Inventory and maintain general office supplies, coordinating with Executive Assistant for ordering


7. Assist with intake of new clients as needed


8. Maintain volunteer spreadsheet


9. Update assigned databases


10. Assist with social media posts


11. Maintain and secure paper and electronic files


12. Complete other duties as assigned


Specialized Skills and Knowledge

1. Previous experience as receptionist or office assistant in an environment that includes a high volume of calls and visitors in need of immediate service;

2. Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills for a fast-paced, client-focused environment.


3. Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal and networking skills.


5. Ability to provide supportive and culturally-sensitive care to people in need.


6. Collaboration, facilitation, presentation and data reporting skills


7. Ability to build productive and professional client and business relationships.


8. Self-motivated and ability to work independently.


Pay:
$39, $43,000.00 per year
