    Description

    Our staffing agency represents a privately-held HCM company that has a 95 Net Promoter Score and is one of the largest HCM resellers in North America.

    This 30-employee firm, which was formed in 2011 and has been growing steadily ever since, is seeking Account Executives to sell $3k to $5k+ ACV software and services deals to SMB and mid-sized companies in your metro area and state. You will work from your home office in the Houston metro area, and conduct many face-to-face client meetings.

    Role

    Individual contributor role, working from your home office in the Houston metro area.

    $55k to $70k+ base, $120k+ OTE in Year One. First-year quota is $200k and there are major accelerators. Commission rates reach 40%.

    * The best part of the plan is residuals – you receive up to 5% commission on your closed deals year after year and our top rep earned $300k+ in 2022

    Experience selling an HCM or HR Tech solution is helpful but not required. The top performers here have a passion for prospecting

    We mostly target SMB and mid-market companies, but our solution is so robust, a 20,000-employee firm trusts us year after year.

    This is a complete offering; you will upsell and cross-sell SaaS modules like talent acquisition, merchant services, retirement planning, and benefits administration. Plus, you will sell $15k consulting deals.

    Lots of autonomy; our top salespeople approach their territory like running their own business.

    Relationship sellers thrive here; you will bring (or develop) lead sources such as CPA firms, brokers, financial advisors, and regional banks.

    You are relatable to your target audience – you're not trying to "sell them something" at every turn.

You will be supported with on-the-job training from Sales leaders with over 30 years of combined experience.     About the Position:

    The confident, self-motivated, goal-oriented team player will:

    · Consistently meet sales goals by selling products and services to clients and meeting their related needs.

    · Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing and potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

    · Adjust the content of sales presentations by studying local market trends.

    · Create new and continue developing existing referral opportunities such as CPAs, insurance brokers, and banks.

    · Submit sales orders by referring to price lists and product literature.

    · Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, existing and new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.

    · Recommend changes in products, services, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

    · Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports and maintaining records on area and customer sales.

    · Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

    The Boring Stuff:

    · This is a full-time position based on 40 hours per week.

    · Primary working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

    · Compensation includes base salary plus commission, voluntary benefits, and company-paid benefits.

    · Must be available to attend designated networking events, which may sometimes occur in the evening hours after 5 p.m.

    · Must have reliable transportation.

    · Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred.

    · 2 to 4 years of industry sales experience.

    · Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (or Google Drive) applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    · HCM experience is a plus.
