Seeking a Finance Manager to join Watts Water Technologies and act as the primary finance partner for the America's Drains business team, reporting to the Director of Fluids Solutions & Drains Finance.
Core competencies for this position will include, but are not limited to, support of monthly operating review, financial forecasting, annual budgeting, strategic planning, and new product development, all of which, requires an ability to navigate complex datasets to prepare meaningful information to drive informed decision-making and/or support business needs.
You will also be expected to work cross-functionally to identify areas of improvement within the various processes, influence change, and implement best practice.
Location:
North Andover Hybrid (Monday - Wednesday onsite)
You Will:
Monitor, analyze, investigate, and report variances to budget, forecast and prior periods.
Provide meaningful, timely financial analysis of business performance and opportunities.
Coordinate the development of annual operating plan and multi-year strategic plans.
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial forecast updates.
Compile and maintain commercial / operational KPI's.
Perform financial analysis as needed in support of business decision-making (i.e., NPD, CAPEX, etc.)
Assure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, GAAP and Watts Accounting Policies and Procedures.
Act as the primary Finance point-of contact for the Drains platform.
Proactively seek out continuous improvement opportunities to drive productivity / efficiency.
Manage various ad-hoc requests and provide financial support for cross-functional projects.
You Have:
BS / BA in Accounting / Finance or related BS / BA degree with equivalent experience. MBA / CMA a plus.
5+ years of experience in a similar role within finance or accounting; preferably for a manufacturing company.
Previous experience working as part of a product-based company is highly preferred
Demonstrated ability in analyzing, interpreting, and communicating financial information.
Capable of effectively manipulating and organizing large amounts of data.
Self-motivated, problem solver with a strong attention to detail.
Advanced knowledge of the financial statements with strong business acumen.
Strong analytical / modeling skills a plus. Advanced Excel skills a plus.
Experience with Hyperion Financial Management, QAD, PowerBi or Tableau preferred.
