- Manage day-to-day activities for specific MarCom Programs.
- Meet lead generation goals and build a pipeline of quality leads and opportunities.
- Convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) using the B.A.N.T. principles.
- Regularly report to stakeholders on pipeline progress and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Collaborate with sales teams to progress leads through the pipeline.
- Conduct research on targeted accounts and new contacts.
- Grow your knowledge of Grid Automation's solutions for effective lead generation.
- Update Salesforce to ensure accurate reporting and data integrity.
- Be an ambassador for the Hitachi Energy brand to enhance Reputation, Relationships, and Revenue.
- Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity.
- Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
- Must have work authorization to work in the United States.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Skills in project management, communication, and problem-solving.
- Personable, outgoing, and skilled in initiating conversations.
- Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation tools like Salesforce and Eloqua.
- Strong organization, project management, and time management abilities.
- Demonstrated skills in prospecting, lead generation, and engaging with decision-makers.
- Ability to multitask with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in additional languages such as French, Spanish, or Portuguese.
- Experience in copywriting and storytelling.
- At least two years of experience in outbound demand generation or business development.
- Experience in industries like power grids, utilities, renewables, transportation, or mining.

As part of the Field Marketing team, we create marketing programs that drive growth for the Grid Automation sales teams in North America (NAM). As a Market Development Representative, you'll be part of a team of 6 experts dedicated to generating demand every day. We need you to help us connect with customers and prospects through impactful Marketing and Communications initiatives that support our mission to share the Grid Automation story effectively.
Your main focus will be on developing the sales pipeline. Your tasks will involve generating marketing qualified leads (MQLs) and converting them into sales qualified leads (SQLs).
