    Strategic Account Manager - North Carolina, United States - Pinnacle Search Partners

    Our client, a leading textile manufacturer, is seeking a Strategic Account Manager whose objective is to increase the revenue and profit of specific products for the US market through effective brand interaction, market analysis, promotion, and activities while supporting the corporate strategic direction.

    The ideal candidate will be located somewhere between Greensboro, NC, and Martinsville, VA.

    Position Responsibilities

    · Represent the client's products and services with a comprehensive knowledge of how solutions meet customers' needs.

    · Generate leads and serve existing partnerships to meet the North American region's business plans, KPIs, and company objectives.

    · Increase business results by driving all market sell-in activities. This includes outreach to customers (brands and retailers) in partnership with the company's brand sales, including presentations, sample distribution, and additional follow-up.

    · Execute the North American opportunities together with the company's sales team.

    · Perform analysis to determine market potential for existing and new products.

    · Identify important in-region Events and Trade Shows and drive participation in partnership with the company.

    · Develop co-marketing opportunities to increase brand awareness and value for other brands as necessary.

    · Maintain technical knowledge of the textile and apparel industry to allow effective communication with customers and the entire value chain.

    · Stay current on current and future apparel trends and translate opportunities into textile characteristics that the company can test, develop, and market.

    · Participate in monthly Global brand sales meetings.

    · Drive set up of local showrooms.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    · Bachelor's degree in business, textiles, marketing, economics, or related field.

    · At least five years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in yarn, fabric, garment technologies, and construction.

    · Proven ability to navigate complex negotiations with a record of closing deals with brands and retailers.

    · Demonstrated experience researching market opportunities and delivering innovations to brands and retailers.

    · Proven record of generating market leads and growing revenue with brands and retailers.

    · Strong collaboration and teamwork skills

    · Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.

    · Flexible and able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.

    · Significant travel to brands, trade shows, and other industry events
