    Senior Accounting Manager
    REMOTE
    plus bonus

    Our client is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager who will oversee the accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving financial excellence within the organization. This candidate will lead a team of skilled professionals and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize financial processes, enhance internal controls, and facilitate accurate financial reporting.

    • This company boasts a collaborative team
    • This company has recently merged and has a large team with room for growth
    • Right hand to the Corporate Controller and exposure to CFO and C-suite
    • Great PTO, benefits, and discretionary bonus
    • Reports to the Corporate Controller

    Overview of the Senior Accounting Manager role:

    • Review and analyze financial results, ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
    • Develop and implement internal control procedures.
    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
    • Manage month-end and year end close processes.
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic financial initiatives and provide insights to support key business decisions.

    Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accounting Manager:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    • 5+ years experience in a PEO organization
    • CPA (+)
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Understanding of the payroll process of PEO experience (+)
