    San Francisco / RemoteMerchandising /Full-time /RemoteThe Buyer, Pet is responsible for expanding and managing the Pet assortment, revenue, and margins by proposing new categories and products.

    Quince's growth and success is directly tied to the performance and success of this role.
    Key Responsibilities and Year One DeliverablesBuild assortment in Pet by adding 300+ new styles across Walk, Wear, Carrier, and Home categories, meeting the Quince definition of quality, margins, and ethicsDrive Pet business to deliver 200+% revenue growth by working closely with marketing, inventory planning, and supply chain partnersBuild a long-term product roadmap that is constantly refined/ updated with new information and learningsDesign and build the cross-functional and direct teams needed to ensure long-term successKey Requirements5+ years of retail merchandising experience in the Pet categoryProduct obsessed with experience in leveraging market trends, data, and a critical eye to anticipate customer needs (combining both the "science" and "art" of merchandising)Strong relationships with existing supplier base within the Pet industryHighly organized, detail-oriented and analytical with focus on execution, problem-solving, improving processes and brand enhancementContinuous learner and highly curious; always open to considering new perspectives; proactive when changing course and facing added challengesExcellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsMotivated by working in a fast-paced collaborative environment, where flexibility to stretch into or out of functional comfort zones is crucial for team successProficient with MS Office/ G Suite applications including Word, Excel and PowerpointBachelor's Degree, preferred
