    BENTELERmakes it happenAs a Project Sales Engineer at BENTELER, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts and ensuring the successful execution of projects.

    You will be the bridge between our technical team and our valued clients, providing expertise on our innovative solutions and collaborating to deliver tailored project solutions.

    Position Responsibilities Process Change Requests Create ECRs (Engineering Change Requests) in SAP Provide sales support for quotations Hold ECR Meetings with support from Project Leader, if necessary Prepare quotations for engineering changes Support the following functions:
    Implement released changes i.e.....

    (a) receive NAELs (customer engineering change Acronym)/ deviations from BMW, (b) track open items, (c) maintain ECR tracking file, (d) organize plant/ team meetings for implementation including BMW, (e) maintain variant plan, (f) coordinate line trials at Benteler, (g) notify BMW of first order #, (h) confirm ISIR/ PPAP completion, (i) align/ confirm implementation with Logistics etc.

    Special Builds - track releases/ deviations of new parts, address issues with BMW, track new parts from BMW and the implementation timing, build plan schedules, manage special builds at
    BENTELERand on-site support at BMW, confirm TOD (BMW orders) and Variant plans match Document Control - gAMS (customer change request) / ECRs, NAELs/ Deviations, and support maintenance of drawings/ CAD and process control docs i.e.

    PFMEA/ torque lists Miscellaneous Support including Module Meetings, Alignment Issues, process engineering, plant production issues, support Project Leader support Sales ManagerPosition QualificationsRequired Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering is desired but will consider Finance/Business degrees as well.

    Equivalent education/experience will also be consideredRequired Work Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering role, preferably in Automotive industry Required Technical Skills Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes in general and some experience with the processes of a module assembly plant (i.e. torque tooling and torque principles for assembly plants, welding, robotics, and corrosion protection processes)
