Automation Sales Project Manager Position DescriptionAggressive Tooling is seeking an Automation Sales Project Manager to manage the coordination and completion of projects.
The Automation Sales Project Manager works closely with the design and sales engineer teams to ensure on time and quality products are delivered to our customers.
EssentialResponsibilities:
- Lead customer project kickoff meeting to obtain scope of project(s)
- Guide in the definition of project scope and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility
- Lead design kick off meetings for new projects or engineering changes
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Coordinate project status meetings with managers
- Discuss overall project objectives, milestones and any current issues
- Ensure that all projects are delivered ontime, within scope and within budget
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Delegate project tasks based on team members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
- Coordinate Road Tech teams for upcoming support travel. Follow up with road tech teams to ensure you receive reports post trip. Respond to and coordinate course of action for needs for additional support
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with shipping department what tooling is shipped and when
- Update and communicate delivery date changes
- Update and communicate job scope changes
- Receive and followup with customer phone calls
- Delegate requests as needed
- Provide sales support during virtual and onsite client meetings
- Handle customer service inquiries, including warranty issues
- Organize and schedule fixture reviews
- Customer reviews, Safety audits and Gage R&R studies
- High School Diploma
- Solid works experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 products
- Familiar with design of manual work stations (Work performed by an individual)
- Familiar with design of automatic stations (Work performed via Robot or combination of linear actuators)
- Familiar with design integration of pneumatic cylinders, linear bearings, clamps and electrical devices
- Familiar with design of manual gages (sheet metal, castings, weld components)
- Proven working experience in project management
- Excellent clientfacing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
Preferred, but not required:_
GD&T knowledge
Ergonomics Knowledge
Automotive experience
Familiarity with document management software (EPDM)
Familiarity with project management solutions
Knowledge of tool steels, mild steels and alloys

From $115,000.00 per year
