Job Summary
This position is perfect for candidates who enjoy working on a close-knit team and are driven to learn, engage, and nurture customer relationships through creative packaging projects. You will be responsible as the first point of contact for customers and their wide-ranging ordering programs and custom orders. Estimating, pricing, forecasting, and project planning are daily tasks. Our department vision is to deliver unparalleled customer service, so on top of having technical aptitude, you must be comfortable as a concierge with a servant leadership attitude. By working closely with top brands, the Technical Account Manager comes with a great opportunity to gain experience and advance their own career.
Our Expectations
• High ability to stay organized while managing multiple projects and customers simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills. Quick to acknowledge customer inquiries through e-mail/phone, no need for follow-ups from the sender. Not afraid or passive to ask clarifying questions to reduce risk of assumptions.
• Innate desire to ensure projects are completed successfully, not always satisfied with the status quo.
• Help build custom WIP and supply chain solutions for more complex customer programs.
• Help resolve issues with the assistance of a dedicated Quality Department and the assigned salesperson.
• Understand your customers' businesses to suggest creative solutions to their packaging and supply chain needs.
• Collaborate with design, project management, and technical and production teams to ensure product specifications are executed on-time and as agreed.
• Give experience-based advice on our products, processes, and operations to support our Continuous Improvement culture.

Other Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
• 5+ years in paper-based custom packaging industry such as corrugated and/or folding carton.
• 10+ years in Project Management, Program Management, Account Management and the like.
• Experience with mid to large-size customers, preferably in food and other high-volume parallel industries.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Desire to continuously improve, be resourceful, and learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint on PC, Mac, Mobile.
• Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose solutions for clients.

Pay: $75,000 - $120,000 a year
