- Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
- Analysis of and improvement to current pay practice.
- Verify and balance files, pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records.
- Training new team members.
- Process and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions.
- Support Management and Payroll with special functions / projects as needed.
- Liaison with Human Resources, Operations, and representatives of Collective Bargaining Units.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred; three or more years payroll experience in a multi-state environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator, preferably with hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors.
- Experience with multi-entity environments.
- Union Experience is an added plus.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and other relevant software.
