- Drive efficiency and effectiveness of Service Sales team by ensuring that activities are aligned with correct markets, products, end customers and channels
- Develop regional sales strategies and drive joint regional tactical sale plan for Service Sales team
- Measure Service Sales Specialist against Dashboard monthly where site visits, quote opportunities, hit rate, new customers and customer conversions are key KPI's
- Develop and drive a pull strategy whose objective is to get Alfa Laval products specified at the end user level and thereby create a preference
- Identify and create plans to drive OEM only policy at end-users, displace non-OEM competitors
- Develop and manage regional project list via CRM to drive forecast and follow up to improve hit rate
- Drive industry and product initiatives into respective BDM territories
- Ensure all resources in respective geography are fully aligned with territory needs and support business goals and targets, redirect as needed
- Facilitate handoffs from service sales specialist to sales channels either in a direct or indirect fashion (coaching)
- Collaborates with Director of Sales to assure parts strategy is effectively implemented in territory
- Drives non-commercial issues (RMAs, Warranty, Shipped in error, Expediting, etc.) back to the appropriate internal resources
- Regularly monitors competitor activities, offering and positioning – provides feedback to portfolio managers
- Establishes and promotes a customer-focused, performance-oriented team, where teamwork, resourcefulness, and flexibility are highly valued.
- Develops team by focusing on professional performance management process with focus on employee training and development.
- Develops and maintains a climate of achievement and team spirit that fosters a high level of employee motivation and commitment.
- Provides direct supervision, guidance, and leadership to achieve segment objectives through the professional and technical development and motivation of subordinates.
- Bachelor's degree Business, Food Science or Technical Discipline or related area or significant relevant and equivalent experience
- 5 years of B2B sales in manufacturing (preferred)
- Experience with fluid handling parts- pumps, valves, tank cleaning, automation (preferred).
