    Job Description

As a Product Manager on the Enterprise AI/ML team, you will be responsible for defining the long-term vision, contributing to the roadmap, and prioritizing executing our Enterprise AI/ML data products. This is an exciting opportunity to help us design and develop data products that let our business stakeholders use and make sense of their data. End-users of these products will be all Procore business users - subject matter experts, decision-makers, and analysts alike - so you will be working with stakeholders from across the enterprise to align everyone on the vision, define requirements, and set priorities. You will partner with other product managers to support the complete vertical pipeline from raw data to UI presentation on various platforms. We are looking for a passionate Product Manager to join the team in building a platform to make interacting with key business data fast, simple, and painless for Procorians.

The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about building and enabling business value through data and platform experiences and is adept at applying product management best practices to developing data products. You will bring your expertise in AI/ML, data, and platforms and guide in data strategy and building road mapping with a commitment to creating empowering user experiences. You have honed your communication skills with designers, stakeholders, and engineers.

This position will report to our Director, AI/ML Data Products, with the opportunity to be located in Austin, TX or work remotely from Austin, TX. We're looking for someone to join our team immediately.

    What you'll do:
    • Lead the definition, design, and delivery of data products within the Enterprise AI/ML and prioritize features and functionality to obtain maximum performance focused on end-user benefits and understand the needs of various business functions and connect them to new and existing initiatives to maximize the realization of value
    • Understand and grow the goals for data capabilities on the platform that need long-term investment and calibrate with the short-term goals of the business
    • Contribute towards the vision and create buy-in for our data products vision across the enterprise - aligning a diverse group of stakeholders around the vision for Enterprise AI/ML.
    • Develop and maintain the Enterprise AI/ML roadmap; scope and prioritize activities based on business and user impact, which defines product enhancements for short-term and long-term releases
    • Gain a deep understanding of end-user needs and experience, identify and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas that grow adoption and improve user experience
    • Work closely with our agile, technical data team (engineers, developers, analysts, data scientists) to deliver product features with quick time-to-deployment and optimal resources
    • Drive product launches, including working with the program team, the data and engineering teams, executives, and end-user team members
    What we're looking for:
    • 3-5years experience in the product life cycle and management, preferably with experience building AI/ML, data, and analytics products through a platform-oriented approach
    • Experience working with data teams (data engineers, data scientists, software developers, data analysts, etc.), product designers, business stakeholders and end-users
    • Proficiency with software development methodologies such as Agile and experience working with Scrum teams and working with Agile software development tools such as Jira
    • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams with diverse skill sets with stakeholders across all levels of the organization
    • Proficiency with AI/ML concepts, foundational data, modern data warehousing tools, and platform stacks that supports and scales petabytes of data daily across hundreds of users that have varying levels of exposure to technology
    • Experience or exposure to predictive analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence and their applications for creating insights and experiences that enrich business processes
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members, and management
