Key Responsibilities:


  • Efficient Production Scheduling: Oversee and optimize production schedules to meet deadlines and output targets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Implement and maintain stringent quality control measures, and initiate continuous improvement processes to minimize defects and ensure product standards are exceeded.
  • Safety Compliance: Champion adherence to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe working environment and reducing workplace accidents and incidents.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control production costs, seeking opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements while maintaining quality.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Ensure accurate inventory levels through effective management, minimizing waste and ensuring the availability of necessary materials.
  • Process Improvement: Lead the evaluation and improvement of production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Team Productivity and Morale: Direct and motivate production teams to achieve high productivity and positive morale, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Communication and Coordination: Maintain clear and effective communication within the production team and with external stakeholders, ensuring smooth operation and coordination of activities.
  • Compliance with Regulations: Ensure all production activities comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Productivity Metrics: Achieve productivity metrics, demonstrating effective management and optimization of production resources and workforce.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure product quality and timely delivery to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in process engineering, visual factory implementation, lean manufacturing, and production planning.
  • Proven track record in managing largescale job shop production environments, with a deep understanding of batch production styles.
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills to effectively address the complexities of job shop manufacturing.
  • Solid understanding of lean principles and the ability to adapt these to high mix, low volume manufacturing environments.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of the organization and with external partners.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:


  • Adept at balancing the demands of job shop and batch production with lean manufacturing principles.
  • Experienced in implementing visual factory and Lean methodologies in a large scale job shop setting.
  • Skilled in production planning and workload balancing to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to process improvement and cost management.


This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, enhancing productivity, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.

The Production Manager will play a key role in achieving our strategic objectives and sustaining our reputation as a leader in large-scale custom manufacturing.


Pay:
$100, $125,000.00 per year
