The impact you will make
Remote:
Must reside in California
As a Business Development Representative you'll develop a pipeline of new prospects and clients that drive future revenue for PipeDreams' family of brands.
You'll provide an exceptional client experience and build new relationships with organizations that are looking to achieve their next stage of growth.
You'll be responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans within your assigned sales territory and/or account. Finally, you'll have the chance to grow your career through best-in-class training and opportunities within the company.Key Responsibilities
Design an action plan to successfully create new business, drive revenue and build client relationships
Create and maintain sales route records
Perform outbound sales prospecting, resulting in scheduled meetings with target referral prospects
Gain commitment from customers leading to referrals
Achieve company sales targets and update management on the status of accounts
Opportunities for growth and potential to oversee sales staff
Maintain a professional, ethical, and positive disposition as a primary representative of the company in the community
Complete weekly and monthly sales reports in a timely manner
Maintain customer contact database
Make group presentations to prospect organizations
Integrate sales efforts with other organized marketing activities (promotions, email marketing, digital advertising, exhibitions, telemarketing, social media marketing, etc.)
Up to 30% travel.
Although most communication can be done via online video and conference calls, travel flexibility will be vital at times for establishing and building new relationships.
Ideally, this will be at the discretion of the BDR to use good judgment with the needs of each customer.
Skills, Knowledge And ExpertiseBachelor's degree in relevant field
Must be a self starter
5+ years of sales or BD experience
Experience in services, retail, consumer-oriented or multi-site industry
Advanced Excel skills
Comfortable developing and hunting your own leads
Entrepreneurial in nature
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen attention to detail
Obsessed with process efficiency and won't rest until the processes are clear and documented, operating smoothly, with high impact, and are operational at scale
You must exhibit a growth mentality and a desire to build organizations and best in class processes. You are never tired of learning and will always seek to do things in the most optimal way, faster, better, and with a higher quality than before
You've got positive energy and are optimistic about the future and determined to get there
You are comfortable with change and can pivot on the fly. You have the capacity to shift priorities as needed to support the business with a "can do" attitude
