    Description

    Sales Development Representative & Administrative Coordinator for Construction Projects

    Office location: 2412 Thurman Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90016

    Join our team to contribute to the success of ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) projects by blending sales development with administrative coordination. We seek a talented individual who excels in sales development, client communication, and project oversight.

    Lead Management and Sales Support

    • Lead Engagement: Contact new leads we receive online, determine if they're a good fit, and then set up a meeting with our sales team.
    • Client Relationship Building: Forge strong relationships through consultative conversations, understanding client needs, and providing ADU insights.
    • Sales Process Support: Manage sales representatives' calendars, track lead follow-ups, and maintain detailed CRM notes.
    • Proposal Development: Partner closely with a salesperson, working one-on-one, to collect insights and develop personalized proposals through PowerPoint and Google Sheets. This demands fast learning and understanding of specific industry terms. Additionally, you'll be responsible for ensuring the client receives the proposal by sharing it through email and SMS.

    Administrative Coordinator

    • Project Management: You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. This includes collaborating closely with the project manager through regular updates and working together to drive the project from sales initiation to successful completion.
    • Financial Oversight: You'll ensure financial oversight by handling payments and expenses. This includes utilizing platforms like for comprehensive tracking. To maintain meticulous records, you'll update expense files, ensure invoices are received for all payments made, and securely file them within each corresponding client folder.
    • Compliance and Permits: Help obtain necessary permits and schedule inspections, ensuring projects comply with local regulations.

    Requirements

    • Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated ability in the construction or home improvement sectors, focusing on working with homeowners and services businesses.
    • Exceptional Communication: Outstanding interpersonal skills to build relationships, understand client needs, and navigate customer service are essential for this role. Empathy and active listening skills are a must.
    • Technical Skills: Working with CRM platforms and web-based applications, with a keen ability to adapt to new tools.
    • Organizational Ability: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capability in a fast-paced environment, ability to work under pressure.
