    Program Manager, Global Transportation
    Los Angeles, CA / GOAT

    Operations / Full-time


    The Operations team manages our worldwide distribution network and is responsible for authenticating our sneakers, fulfilling orders and ensuring on-time delivery to buyers.

    Through our technological innovation and logistical efficiency, you will join a team that prides itself on being the most trusted marketplace in the industry while shipping and processing tens of millions of products for our global buyers and sellers.

    As the Program Manager for Global Transportation at GOAT Group, you will oversee GOATs global

    shipping network working closely with the Global Logistic team and internal stakeholders. You will help

    develop and optimize the network through their knowledge of data and analytic skills. Setting clear action

    plans and process improvements through visualization dashboards. You will drive company profitability

    through cost per shipment, while meeting our time to buyer commitments and launching with new carriers

    successfully.
    The role is expected to play a crucial part in developing our carrier integration strategy going forward. We

    are looking for a candidate that can not only own all of our shipping data and financials but bring creative

    solutions to our complex model.


    In this role you will:

    • Direct daily activities to meet efficiency and profit goals.
    • Carrier implementation management
    • Uses project management skill to develop plans/tools and confirms alignment across all
    • stakeholders
    • Producing accurate and timely reporting of project status throughout its life cycle.
    • Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
    • Develops and owns 12 month roadmap, prioritizes projects based on impact, business need, and
    • stakeholder input
    • Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues
    • and decisions on services.
    • Working on strategy with internal stakeholders.
    • Analyze transportation risks.
    • Build and maintain total ship cost matrix
    • Build and maintain carrier performance scorecards
    • Build and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for both internal stakeholders and external
    • stakeholders
    • Partner with Shippo/Easypost for parcel carrier integration and know the ins and outs of
    • integrations.
    • 3-5 years of experience in project management within operations
    • Bachelors Degree
    • Experience in identifying areas of improvement and implementing solutions
    • 3 years of experience working with cross functional teams
    • 3 years of experience in continuous improvement or related field
    • Demonstrated ability to lead people/teams without formal responsibility
    • Strong management and influence skills; ability to negotiate and communicate across all levels of
    • the organization
    • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective written and verbal communication
    • Excellent presentation skills, dynamic approach with the ability to translate theory into practical
    • application
    • Analytical background - SQL and Excel proficiency
