Sustainability and innovation are at the heart of all of our sectors which, in North America include Advisory, Built Environment, Energy, Transportation, and Water.- The Strategic Partnerships and Inclusion Manager will support the WES Unit and cultivate relationships with local agencies, boards, commissions, local colleges/universities, and industry organizations such as ACEC, ASCE, WTS, Railway Association, SHPE, to name a few. While elevating our existing internship and mentorship programs externally and internally, the Strategic Partnerships and Inclusion Manager, will focus on meeting and exceeding Mott MacDonald's recent graduate and intern hiring objectives to develop a workforce pipeline by developing an LA-focused program and managing it.

This role will support community economic development activities including client-led initiatives related to Equity Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and Community Social Responsibility (CSR) activities in coordination with the NASA EDI Manager.***- As part of representing and promoting MM, the Strategic Partnerships and Inclusion Manager will support the development of our annual conference calendar.

Driving and continuing to improve Mott MacDonald's social outcomes strategy and approaches to delivering project services and benefits to local communities in Southern California

  • Engaging with clients and responding to client bid requests to meet clients' social outcomes needs in different contexts and communities
  • Managing and delivering a range of projects in sectors including, but not limited to, transit, transportation, water, and energy
  • Working and coordinating with our design teams and specialty subconsultants
  • Building Mott MacDonald's external reputation for being a leader in social value and inclusion
  • Engaging with colleagues across the US and wider business on social outcomes
  • Attending and speaking at external events and undertaking external business development
  • Liaising with early career professionals and ensuring knowledge transfer
  • Contributing to action plans and presentations

Requirements:

years of progressively responsible related experience in sales, marketing, and business

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Los Angeles policies and priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with different stakeholders, internally and externally
  • Confidence in liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, including listening, presenting and writing, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with mínimal supervision
  • Experience in public speaking
  • An ability to build networks and mentor others
  • A proactive attitude towards innovation, leading initiatives and driving change
  • Ability to occasionally travel outoftown.
