AECOM is seeking an experienced
Energy Project Manager to join our growing Energy Team.

The responsibilities of this role also include, but may not be limited to, the following:

  • Interface regularly with the clients to identify project needs, communicate engineering solutions, and strengthen client relationships.
  • Working with interdisciplinary technical leads in coordinated successful execution of projects
  • Coordinating internal resources and third parties/subcontractors for the execution of projects
  • Supporting changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs to minimize risk
  • Reporting and escalating to management as needed
  • Maintaining project documentation control
  • Develop cost estimates to determine ROM
  • Write technical reports to communicate findings to clients and stakeholders
  • Review or originate solar engineering design packages
  • Review or originate energy production modeling
  • Developing and maintaining good client relationships across the portfolio
  • Lead and support development of technical proposals.
  • Training others to learn project management skills
  • Help recruit and build a team of professionals to support the growth strategy
  • High proficiency within Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Excel
  • Occasional travel within the United States may be required
  • Work in a team environment (virtual and periodically in office)

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or closely related engineering field
  • 4 years of relevant experience in energy services or related industry.
  • Valid US Driver's License, and as a condition of employment, pass AECOM's motor vehicle records review.

Preferred Requirements:

  • 4+ years experience in utility scale, commercial, DG and Industrial scale solar projects, substation or transmission line design and construction
  • Familiar with module and inverter OEMs, and US based constructors.
  • EIT or PE license
  • PMP or CAPM certification

Additional Information

  • Relocation assistance is not available for this role
  • Sponsorship is available for this role
  • Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position typically is $92, $140,000.00 annually.
