    Description
    Accounting Manager - HYBRID schedule in the Raleigh, NC area

    Our client is looking for an Accounting Manager to manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting Department.


    Responsibilities Include:
    Support month end close
    AP, AR, cash receipts, check runs, fixed assets, cash forecasting
    Prepare financial reporting including metrics surrounding AP, AR, and Payroll.
    Review of G/L for any missing transactions and overall accuracy
    Treasury experience
    Preparing documentation for processes and procedures
    Assess internal controls
    Oversee a team
    Work cross functionally with other departments throughout the organization
    Provide quarterly and annual audit support
    Ability to manipulate large sets of data

    Skills and experience:

    5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, ideally with experience in month-end close, AP, AR, and Payroll
    Previous supervisory experience
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
    Strong Understanding of GAAP accounting standards
    Knowledge of accounting/ERP software, including NetSuite, Intacct, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics Suite, and QuickBooks
    Experience working in a paperless environment strongly preferred
    Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
    Ability to work autonomously with little direction
    Can adapt to change
    Good work ethic and displays a can do type of attitude
