    JOB SUMMARY

    The Case Manager V/Projects Support reports to the Program Director and provides direct case management services and support to all participants in the CADRE Programs and maintains all participants' records. The Case Manager V/Projects Support assists job seekers in preparation for securing and retaining employment.

    ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Provides support with eligibility orientations.
    2. Assists with coordinating appropriate and efficient job placement.
    3. Provides support with employment related workshops.
    4. Provides support with new projects and crew activities while walking on all dozer lines, safety zones, hand lines, roads staging areas and other areas potentially damaged by the weather.
    5. Under the supervision of worksite's staff, performs maintenance work included but not limited to multiple park beaches and at times, working on various projects to improve experience for the public.
    6. Provides support with projects such as train construction, restoration and rehabilitation.
    7. Provides support for different county worksites.
    8. Provides support to participants by safely using equipment such as saws, hammers and weed whackers.
    9. Ensures projects duties are performed in a safe manner in compliance with Departmental policies and the Districts Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
    10. Isolates and/or immediately corrects any problem posing a hazard to participants or visitors.
    11. Works in remote locations and may often have to walk long distances to locations.
    12. Follows all work procedures and worksites rules.
    13. Coordinates and purchases client support service needs.
    14. Provides individual and group job-related instruction and mentoring to CADRE participants
    15. Provides Employer and Community awareness education.
    16. Provides case management services for assigned caseload.
    17. Attends training seminars as required.
    18. Thinks and act quickly and efficiently in emergencies.
    19. Complies with all Turning Point Safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to: workplace safety, reporting work related injuries, Infection Control and preventing potential safety risks for staff, clients and others.
    20. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility of each employee at Turning Point. Employees are expected to report to work as scheduled, on time and prepared to start working. Employees also are expected to remain at work for their entire work schedule. Late arrival, early departure or other absences from scheduled hours are disruptive and must be avoided.

    ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

    1. High School Diploma or equivalent education
    2. Minimum of 1 year of grounds keeping and maintenance experience.
    3. Ability to work with ages 18 and over.
    4. Ability to use the equipment necessary to complete the responsibilities of the job.
    5. Ability to work in the community with limited supervision.
    6. Ability to supervise work performed in outdoor areas.
    7. Ability to handle sensitive issues with confidentiality, integrity, and tact.
    8. Will Drive on Agency business.
    9. Will drive on agency business.
    10. Ability to work as part of a team cooperating with supervisor and co-workers in order to provide the optimum customer service.
    11. Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Office 365, Teams, Zoom and other communication/meeting platforms.
    12. Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a dependable means of transportation that is properly insured and operated in accordance with all laws. Agency insurer authorization is required.
    13. Ability to pass a criminal background check.
    14. Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, general physical, and TB test.
    15. Must maintain good relationships with current, future and past employees, co-workers, vendors, third party administrators, and others with whom the Agency is transacting business, and relate to them in a professional manner.
