- Manage accounts payable transactions, which involve reviewing invoices, securing approvals, coding expenses, and inputting data into the accounting system.
- Handle the preparation and execution of vendor payments, encompassing checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers, while ensuring precision and promptness.
- Conduct reconciliation of vendor statements and promptly address any discrepancies.
- Handle accounts receivable transactions, including the creation of invoices, processing payments, and pursuing overdue accounts.
- Produce and analyze aging reports to supervise accounts receivable balances and collections.
- Execute bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies through investigation.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes, like making journal entries, accruals, and compiling financial statements.
- Maintain accurate and current accounting records and documentation.
- Participate in the generation of financial reports and analysis when necessary.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure precise and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Stay informed about accounting regulations and best practices to ensure adherence.
- Participate in special projects and process enhancements as directed by management.
- Demonstrated experience in an accounting or relevant position.
- Thorough comprehension of accounting principles and methodologies.
- Possess strong attention to detail with exceptional accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
