    Description

    Position Overview:
    We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Specialist to support various financial tasks within our organization.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

    You will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, recording payments, and reconciling accounts.

    Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and general ledger entries.

    Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.

    Conduct periodic audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and procedures.

    Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support decision-making processes.

    Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and accruals.

    Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices, and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

    Provide support during external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

    2+ years of experience in accounting or related role.

    Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.

    Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.

    Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

    CPA or relevant certification (preferred but not required).
