GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: This position is based in the greater Los Angeles Market. The position provides program leadership support for multiple growth projects. This individual must strive to maintain the highest level of performance and professionalism with an ongoing emphasis on project leadership and must maintain a high level of discretion since the position interfaces with highly confidential projects. A drive for results is imperative.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive business growth throughout the organization. Identify and prioritize new concepts, categories, customers, partnerships, and business models from discovery phase to commercialization with special emphasis on dealer channels. Analyze data and translate insights into winning strategies and new business models. Execute new programs leveraging deep user understanding with the goal of improving user experience while delivering against strategic priorities and growth objectives. Establish and monitor metrics that indicate the impact of financial business drivers on the prioritization and development of new ideas and business models. Determine internal and external resource plan to deliver project results.
Qualifications
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no direct reports.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Not applicable.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Strong project management, organizational, time management and oral and written communication skills a must. Strong presentation skills preferred. Must be able to travel (drive and fly) 10% of the time among Dunn-Edwards locations throughout CA, NV, AZ, NM, and TX, including occasional overnight travel. High level of proficiency with MS Office applications with special emphasis on PowerPoint.
