    Twilio is seeking a Vice President of Growth & Marketing Operations to lead our growth strategy for accelerating our global customer acquisition.

    This key role will lead and grow an existing team of 25 professionals spanning Analytics, Demand Generation, Marketing Operations, and Lifecycle Marketing.

    Reporting to the CMO, you'll hold a key leadership role, bringing an analytical approach to understanding and capturing opportunities in our market, feeding a fast-growing Sales army with an annual pipeline measured in billions of USD.

    As an experienced executive you'll:
    Synthesize complex data about marketing funnels, able to isolate and prioritize areas for redress.
    Prioritize customer segments for growth by sizing segments, understanding how they buy, and evaluating competitor tactics.
    Institutionalize a successful framework, attribution or otherwise, for evaluating and comparing program effectiveness.
    Steer the roadmap of technical systems (such as a marketing tech stack) with first-principles thinking about user needs.
    Demonstrate executive presence and are viewed as a trusted advisor while working cross-functionally across Marketing, Sales, and Product. You're able to communicate complex ideas succinctly.
    Champion bold marketing ideas to the point of securing funding, demonstrating value, and scaling programs.
    Empower others in managing sizable teams, fostering an inclusive environment and making time for employee development.
    Preferably have an MBA. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
    What?
    The VP Growth & Marketing Operations will drive programs for customer acquisition and customer marketing (expansion, cross-sell).

    Work closely with the CMO and other leaders to set quarterly targets and allocate a global marketing budget for maximum impact.


    Ruthlessly prioritize:
    Oversee digital strategy and optimize paid campaigns to generate sales leads while improving our CAC.

    No shenanigans:


    Deliver a cadence of robust, trusted reporting on the full marketing funnel for executives in Marketing and Sales, proactively addressing any gaps against targets.


    Wear the customer's shoes:


    Build a Growth team that improves conversion rates across campaigns, web journeys, and product flows and a Lifecycle Marketing function that nurtures leads and developer signups with an emphasis on expansion and cross-sell.


    Don't settle:
    Refine workflows for lead routing and prospecting. Collaborate with Sales on the engagement model, tooling, and process (e.g SLAs)

    Draw the owl:
    Roadmap responsibility for our marketing tech stack, including marketing automation and our CDP (Segment). Refine and expand our analytics infrastructure to add new targets and ensure accuracy from upstream data sources.

    COMPENSATION GUIDANCE - COLORADO ONLY

    In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado.

    Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well.


    Salary:
    $280,000 to $300,000

    Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
