    ID:1025Location:East Longmeadow, MADepartment:Sales Description Maybury Material Handling is looking for a highly motivated and driven outside sales professional to work with customers in industrial establishments to design and sell material handling products and systems which include but not limited to forklifts, conveyors, storage rack, shelving, modular offices, mezzanines, dock equipment, crane and hoists, etc.


    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Generates target customer lists and strategies to expand Mayburys business opportunities. Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
    • Keeps in regular contact with existing customers to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
    • Solicits orders, follows up on leads and works with Mayburys sales/engineering staff to develop and communicate material handling solutions for regular and prospective customers.
    • Surveys regular and prospective customers facilities and recommend material handling solutions. Generates and presents quotes and performs sales presentations.
    • Displays or demonstrates material handling products emphasizing industry standout features and benefits.
    • Works with inside sales staff to log account activities, file customer credit inquiries and to keep customer database and product literature up to date.
    • Attends trade shows and belongs to trade organizations and local groups to promote the sales of material handling products.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree and/or at least two years of successful sales experience. Material handling industry, engineering, or general business experience preferred. Some knowledge of material handling products and applications a plus.
    • Must have a passion for sales, be self-motivated and driven towards success.
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required as well as mechanical aptitude.
    • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet Explorer required.
    • Must have a valid drivers license, good driving history and be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
