    SafetyChain Software is seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Tech Lead to join our innovative team. As a pivotal member, you will spearhead our automation testing initiatives, driving excellence in product quality and performance. With a focus on empowering our quality team and optimizing testing processes, you will play a key role in advancing our 'shift left on Quality' initiative, ensuring our products exceed customer expectations.

    What You Will Do:

    • Own and lead the automation testing initiatives for our SaaS products, ensuring comprehensive coverage and efficient execution.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enhance testing strategies, methodologies, and processes.
    • Guide and mentor the offshore quality team in implementing effective testing practices and methodologies.
    • Manage and prioritize testing efforts, ensuring alignment with product development timelines and goals.
    • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of testing activities and drive continuous improvement.
    • Partner with internal stakeholders, including development, product management, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive approach to quality assurance.
    • Engage with external stakeholders, such as third-party vendors and partners, to coordinate testing efforts and ensure product quality standards are met.
    • Drive the "shift left on Quality" initiative by advocating for early involvement of quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.
    • Identify risks, perform risk analysis, effectively manage risks; proactively raise prioritization and scheduling tradeoff decisions, escalating and identifying alternate options as appropriate
    • Incorporate security and performance testing into the overall test strategy, collaborating with relevant teams to address vulnerabilities and optimize system performance.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and testing automation, incorporating relevant advancements into our processes.
    Our Ideal Candidate
    • Demonstrated expertise in leading automation testing initiatives for complex SaaS products.
    • Proven track record of guiding and mentoring teams to deliver high-quality software products on schedule.
    • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks, with a focus on automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
    • Experience defining and tracking KPIs to measure testing effectiveness and drive improvements.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Deep understanding of security and performance testing principles and experience integrating them into test strategies.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Enthusiasm for staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies in quality assurance and testing automation.
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSQA) are a plus.
    • Proactive mindset with a passion for driving change and improvement in quality assurance practices.
    • High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility and adaptability with strong negotiation and prioritization skills.
    • Comfortable with travel, especially to offshore dev teams in India.
